Well it’s December and the Holidays are upon us. I recently got to do some photo styling for St. Louis At Home Magazines November /December issue and was fortunate enough to work with some great people. Four stylist where given four different holidays and asked to set up holiday decorations on a  two hundred-dollar budget. My holiday was Christmas, which I love. You have to check out the article. It has some great ideas! The three other stylist were Kathy Curotto, Becky McFarland and Trenna Travis, all lovely ladies. The shoot was at Meoli Studio and the photographers were Clay Crain and Chris Malacarne two really nice guys.

I would like to give a shout out to a couple of my resources for the shoot. The White Rabbit at 9030 Manchester Road and Fellenz Antiques at 439 North Euclid Ave. in the Central West End.

If you havent been to Fellenz Antiques and you are looking for architectural salvage, old doors, hardware, mantles and other fun finds. You are missing out. I got the door for the cover of the magazine there. It was really beautiful and had a lovely golden patina. Bill Fellenz is the owner and has been in the business a long time and at this location since the sixties. The hours are Monday through Saturday 8 am till 2 pm. The store is crammed packed with salvage and Bill is very knowledgable about his wares. So, all you rehabbers need to check this place out.

This shop is owned by  mother daughter team Angie and Lindsay. They are open Monday through Saturday 10:00-5:00 and Sunday 11:00-4:00. These ladies were graciuos in letting me use one of their fireplace mantles and a mirror. Thier store is full of shabby chic finds and a fun destination for a girl friend outing. So, if you are on the lookout for some shabby chic cottage goods head on over to The white Rabbit on Manchester.

Thanks Again to Fellenz and The White Rabbit!
